The East Coast of Tasmania comprises of the well-known highlights of the Bay of Fires, Freycinet Peninsula, Wineglass Bay and Maria Island. The coast produces a cool climate with average temperatures in summer ranging between 10 – 21 degrees.

As the seasons change and it gets colder, the winter months see cold temperatures of 2 – 12 degrees. Tasmania is known for its four seasons within any given day. Be prepared and carry a waterproof jacket at all times. The wettest month on the East Coast is November.
